                                      Our Story

Friends since elementary school, Harper Collins and Brad Rivers never imagined they would one day be wed. From riding the bus to school, having some of the same classes, and living down the street from each other, it was not exactly love at first sight. In the city of Woodstock, Harper and Brad were friends growing up, but never dated. After years of not talking or seeing each other due to Harper moving to a different high school, they reconnected in their third year at Kennesaw State. She was studying to become a high school math teacher and he was studying biology, hoping to one day be in a lab. They started dated shortly after reconnecting. They shared childhood stories and talked about their future together. They were engaged by the summer of 2015. Having grown up as friends, their families already knew each other and they were all so excited for them. They both love being outside, so they chose June to get married so they could have the ceremony and reception outdoors. They are very excited to be married and have loved planning their wedding together!

"The Farm now encompasses nearly 200-acres and the old Farmhouse has changed a bit over the years as we have preserved and strengthened the charm and comfort of this peaceful valley with every event we have hosted. Tens of thousands of good folks have enjoyed the old-fashioned "Barn Dances" that we began hosting in 1979. The ol' Barn smiles when it is full of happy faces! From these Barn Dances where the likes of Travis Tritt and the "Confederate Railroad" have performed to political events where governors, senators and even Charlton Heston have attended to Christmas Parties where the 2500 guests were treated to their very own snowfall, elves, carolers and Santa himself, the Farm has quite an interesting history."
